God is sooooo Amazing!!

So..i just want to share how good god has been to me. First of all to those of you who dont know.. we are having another baby girl any day now..which is a major plus cuz we are super broke right now and i have the most amazing hand-me-downs from my first daughter adia & they are in great condition! Second..when we moved from our old house to the house we are in now we lost the bag of bolts and screws to put together our crib..so we were pretty much screwed & needed a new crib. Well, one of my best friends tara wall decided to organize (behind my back) all of our friends to pitch in & buy us a new crib..i was sooo surprised! It just came in a few days ago & is beautiful! Not to mention my parents bought all new baby room bedding & decor to go with it..a double plus!! Then my parents just bought an awesome new pack-n-play & chips parents bought a new swing to match it!! I didnt even "need" these things..i mean i could certainly do without them..but we were so fortunate & blessed! I also keep finding great deals on cheap baby clothes..that i dont even "need" & our landlord just finished remodeling the upstairs of our house for FREE (without even upping our rent) & we now have two beautiful new bedrooms upstairs..so both of my girls have their own room, chip & i have ours & we have a guest room!! UNBELIEVAVBLE! Well, i could go on & on & on..my husband & i are more in love than ever in 6 years of marriage..i love my family..i love my friends..i love my church..life-n-general is wonderful right now! I just wanted to share my joy with you & and encourage you that God has GREAT things in store for you..and if HE is faithful to bless me & my family..he will surely bless you!! Just seek Him with your whole heart! He will give you the desires of your heart! xoxoxoxox Well, gotta run & get adia out of the bathtub..she's been in there for at least 25 minutes & is probably wrinkled like a prune:) till next time..Loriann

just another (9 month pregnant) thursday in the grinnell household..

I woke up this morning for the 7th time to pee around 6:30 am. I could smell the potent smell of my husbands morning dump in the bathroom around 6:40 & from there knew there was no going back to sleep. I waddled back to the bathroom when I heard the shower water running..as it usually does around this time. (All environmentally conscious people plug your ears for this part..) Chip usually runs the water for a good 10 minutes while he's dumping to get it "good & hot" although if you ask me it doesn't take more than 45 seconds to get it good & hot at the most. Well, being married for 6 years we take a non-sexual shower together most mornings to chat about our plans for the day. Of course he stands under the hot water and I am usually back in the corner freezing my astro-nay nay's off. But i cant complain..cuz when you are in love there is nothing better than spending those first few moments of the day together..whether its talking. coffee. breakfy. or a freezing (for you anyway) non-sexual shower. Now don't get me wrong..I am not at all saying that just cuz you've been married 6 years you cant have a great sex life..cuz that is not the case at all..but you learn that when your 9 months pregnant..up all night..tired & sex is better in a warm bed..shower sex seems less & less exciting. Okay..enough about the shower..sooo from there after chipper took off for work..I got dressed..thankfully chip helped me put my socks on before he left for work..and i sat down for a nutrious bowl of cocoa puffs mmmmmmmmm..what can i say?? there was no Ezekiel bread & i didn't feel like cooking eggs. a moment later i was joined by my little adia (3 yrs old) who greeted me with a "good morning mommy..how was your good day" i was glad to be greeted with a smile..cuz you can generally tell how your day is gonna go from those first few words they utter & how they utter them. she joined me for breakfy & we went potty in which she needed help wiping her butt..because shhhhhhhh..even though she is a big girl she doesnt like to get "poop streaks" in her undies ewhhhh grody cheese..so until we have wiping down to a science..mommy helps her wipe every now and again. We finished getting dressed and rushed out the door to go to aunt mimi's..cuz mommy had a pelvic exam at the doctors today..wahoooooo gotta love those pelvic exams. I then went to pick adia back up from mimi's..visited for about half an hour and headed back home..by then it was almost noon..my how the day flys by!! We had some lunch.. and since i'm fat and pregnant..by this time i was pooped from all the running around. I flopped down on the couch to watch anne of green gables (i know i'm a cheeseball..shut up) and adia played with play dough at the kitchen table..till she got bored of it and decided to go watch the qubo channel on tv.."qubo is a party..qubo for everyone!" We both relaxed for about an hour or so..she went off to play in her room..i decided to pack my bag for the hospital since my husband had asked me to about 37 times this week...then proceeded to do several loads of laundry..ate an activia yogurt in hopes i wouldnt be so freakin constipated..and joined adia in her room to play..well..that takes us to here..and since i am an extremely slow typer..this has taken at least half hour 45 minutes to write..now its almost 10 after 4 and chip gets home at 5:15..and since we know every "good" wife has dinner on the table or at least in the oven by the time her husband gets home..i had better go start dinner..until next time..
